Skype is a wonderful thing! Today I was able to see and talk to my oldest son who is teaching English in Korea.  We conversed about the challenges of being a faithful follower of Christ in a foreign country.  “It’s hard to find a church community where I fit in, Mom.”  Realizing God is taking this precious son to a different level of faithfulness, I encouraged him to be expectant!  “With watchful eyes and a seeking heart, you will find Him, Son, and He will be even more amazing to you than ever!”  How grateful I am that God is the God of the universe and will care for this young man wherever he is!

“Where can I go from your Spirit?
Where can I flee from your presence?
If I go up to the heavens, you are there.
If I rise on the wings of the dawn,
If I settle on the far side of the sea,
even there your hand will guide me,
your right hand will hold me fast.” Psalm 139:7-10

“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.”  Matthew 7:7

  1. Thrilled to discover your new ministry, Cathy! What a wonderful legacy you are building into. Thank you for sharing this. Funnily enough I blogged on a very similar theme this week – http://www.ministriesbydesign.org/2012/10/29/a-new-living-legacy/
What joy these precious grandchildren are to us! And how privileged we are to be able to keep in touch with far flung family via technology these days! Blessings on you as you build this ministry.
