The other day my daughter called me on the phone. As soon as I answered, I knew by her trembling voice something was wrong. “Mom, our kitten was killed this morning!” Her greatest concern was how to tell her six year old daughter? “She will be so sad.” Little did my daughter know at that moment that (this mother’s heart) was breaking for her as (her mother’s heart) was in pain for her daughter. As I sought the Lord for comfort and wisdom for my daughter/mom, I realized the Lord is the Heavenly Father to all generations. How grateful I am that He is in charge of all children’s hearts and cares far more for them than I ever could.
