The last few months have been so encouraging!
I had a wonderful time speaking to G-parents all around South Carolina.
My thanks to The 2014 Women’s Conference at Old Fort Baptist Church
The women of St Theresa’s of St Pauls, Summerville.
The wonderful grandparents at St Johns, Florence, mid-week service.
I enjoyed the wonderful meal and time in conversation as guest speaker at the mid-week fellowship dinner at Santee Presbyterian.
Hi Cathy! Very happy you have been a Speaker at all the Events you listed and that you are getting the word out on how to be a better Grandparent. As you know, I thoroughly believe in what you are attempting to do and am happy for your success. The Grandparenting Camp at Camp St. Christopher sounds enticing, but as you know my grandkids are 3000 miles away and it is awfully expensive to fly them here as I had hoped to do. I have two cousins whom I haven’t seen in 50 years coming for 6 day visit in early May and then I travel to y 50th College re-union in mid-May and to visit my brother in Ohio! Rhen we are planning to fly to the West Coast in early Oct for my son’s wedding, vist friends in CA, and then fly up to Seattle to visit my daughter. This will cost me a lot of money, as you can imagine!
So the Grandparenting “thing” is not looking good here, but, of course, I will be seeing them in early October there and that is a good thing!
Stay well and active and keep up the good work!
peace,
Lee McVay
