I love to go out to dinner with my middle son!  We sit and talk casually about life over delicious Low Country food and a glass of wine.  It’s difficult being a young adult in today’s world.  With a college degree and an internship under his belt, he still struggles in our economy finding that meaningful job with an appropriate salary and benefits.  “Have you thought about the military?”  Or “Have you given more thought to returning to graduate school?”  Or “What about…?”  How I wish I could “fix” life for him!  Struggling as a “grown-parent” who wants to help her precious son, I am reminded of a saying,  “When they are little, the troubles are little; when they are big, the troubles are big!”  How thankful I am that nothing is too big for the Lord and He can carry my son’s burdens much better than I can!

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”  Matthew 11:28
